Effort and Ease: Arm Balance Technique

Skillful yoga wields right effort to reveal an authentic ease. We learn about this dynamic pulsation between engagement and softness in every pose, but radically so in arm balances. In order to approach these challenging and graceful poses, we must learn to channel our efforts to draw into our center – our integrity – so that from that strength we can be steady, soft and open. Come for the techniques, preparations, and sequencing that open up these poses as well as this cultivation of mind, heart, and spirit. For those new to arm balances and those seeking to refine. Some yoga experience is recommended.
